Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH) or LEC lamps have a higher proportion of blues and reds lights than other high pressure sodium (HPS) or metal halide (MH) lamps. This means that the plant growth and flowering process is more natural, as the spectrum is more similar to sunlight.
Newlite CMH LEC 945 W lamps are installed on reflectors for professional luminaires with double ended lamp-holders.
Newlite CMH LEC 945 W lamps increase the quality of the final product of the plants, as it naturally activates the phenols responsible for offering the best of the plant genetics.
A specific low frequency ballast is required for CMH LEC 945 W lamps to obtain the best performance, although they are also compatible with high frequency ballasts.
CMH LEC lamps must not be adjusted to powers different than those for which they have been designed.
This lamp is available in two different colour temperatures:
3200K: indicated for complete development processes focused on flowering.
4200K: indicated for complete developments processes with balanced vegetative growth and flowering.
They are both mixed lamps and can be used to perform the full cycle, from rooting or germination, to vegetation and flowering, to the final steps of production.
CMH or LEC lamps offer a more homogeneous light spectrum than sodium lamps. This favours an improved development of the secondary metabolites: alkaloids, terpenes and phenols.
